This past week was somewhat quiet, with the exception of a few standout moments, which marked yet another comparatively slow week in marijuana.

That’s saying things in a year where Kamala Harris chose a pro-pot VP, Donald Trump signaled aid for legislation, and Ohio opened local sales. However, aside from a few key needle-moving occasions, much of the activity did n’t produce a ton of media buzz. However, despite a apparently sluggish year, a lot also happened on the national and international levels.

Here are a few of the striking scenes from last week that were consumed with marijuana.

Monday, August 5

  • A Michigan-based 15-year-old was caught with over$ 100k in stolen pharmacy items over the weekend, or about 770 grams in Michigan dispo sales.
  • Columbia Care’s East 14th St place, the first clinical clinic in Manhattan, is now for rent.
  • Lockhart, Texas, continues to question adding a 13-question legalization vote program to the November ballot.
  • Two Indonesian suspects are accused of using cat toys and cloth to transport 220 pounds of dish to the UK after an international container bust.

Tuesday, August 6

Ohio saw its first day of fun marijuana sales.

  • The Supreme Court of Nevada rejected claims to have cannabis removed from the country’s Schedule I list. The decision does not alter or affect any current legislation or income.
  • Missouri’s Division of Cannabis Regulation recalled products purchased from NGWMO, LLC, alleging products were n’t tested to state standards.
  • One month in, some of Minnesota’s health dish is reveling in home-grown victory.
  • In the upcoming Presidential election, Kamala Harris chose pro-pot Governor Tim Walz as her running partner, referring to the Great Lake State.

Friday, August 9

Despite Donald Trump’s seeming accessibility to hemp legislation, his VP JD Vance’s previous comments suggest that the two may vary on the topic.

  • By 2025, the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation stated in a press release that it intends to check materials for THCA and THC on its own.
  • And in information that people should have known before but tend not to, NatGeo is the most recent to report that the classifications of indica and sativa do not have an impact on uplifting or stimulant effects. Take a Joey Swoll and “do better” by considering shopping abroad if your local pharmacy or lock uses herb and plant to identify effects.

That’s a bit of what happened in plant next week. Did we miss something? Send us a message, and we’ll do our best to rounded up all the elements next year.
