Santa Rosa, California, played network to one of the most attractive cannabis events of the year—the Hall of Flowers 2024. The two-day occurrence, which took place on September 20 and 21, featured the best of cannabis society as a blend of B2B network and a common festival.
Hall of Flowers has evolved from its founding in 2018 to become a model for hemp companies, users, and thought leaders in the industry. This year’s function did not disappoint, offering a slew of wonderful highlights that not only catered to business professionals, but also allowed the people to indulge themselves in a world of cannabis, lifestyle, art, music and cooking experiences.
Day One: Business-to-Business
The first day of Hall of Flowers was dedicated to B2B relationships, providing a specialized environment for hemp companies, manufacturers, retailers and distributors to link and explore opportunities for growth. The event provided a room for innovation and engagement across the industry because California is one of the most well-known cannabis markets in the world. Brands were able to talk with customers about their goods, discuss emerging tendencies, and form partnerships for upcoming development.
Over 300 top-tier hemp companies gathered to channel and showcase their most recent products, creating an incredible level of energy in the air. From cutting-edge package patterns to groundbreaking product improvements, there was something for everyone. Companies like Papa’s Herb, Khalifa Kush, House Plant, and Rappa Fire no just displayed their products, but even engaged in important conversations about the future of hemp.
Max Benitah, co-founder of Papa’s Herb, captured the show’s nature when he said,” Hall of Flowers Santa Rosa has been an amazing experience for Papa’s Herb this time. We had the opportunity to network with so many enthusiastic individuals in the cannabis industry, and the strength at the event was unsurpassed. Our products almost ran out because of the positive feedback from our customers.
The marketing opportunities were numerous, with both well-known and visitors taking advantage of the opportunity to form lasting partnerships. Khalifa Kush’s CEO, DJ Saul, commented on the show’s success and teased future plans, stating,” We have great ideas for next year and look forward to showing you what’s next. We’ve had one of our best centuries so far, but we’re confident that the year ahead will be even better.
Day Two: Public Festival and Cultural Celebration
Hall of Flowers absolutely shined on Day 2, when it opened its doors to the public for the first time. Guests were treated to a full-fledged cannabis event, where they could discover promotional products, enjoy life enjoyment, participate in interactive art installations, and style cannabis-infused culinary creations.
The 4: 20 Smoke Sesh and Meet &, Greet With Wiz Khalifa was one of the biggest attractions. Hosted by Khalifa Kush, the session allowed fans to engage with the famous rapper while celebrating cannabis culture in an intimate, smoke-friendly environment.
However, House Plant’s world-record attempt to light the most joints at once made for the biggest spectacle. Over 7, 000 people gathered at the same time to light up, making for an unforgettable experience that both challenged the limits of cannabis events and was a celebration of community. Sponsored by Seth Rogen’s brand House Plant and OCB, the record-breaking attempt solidified Hall of Flowers as a global epicenter of cannabis culture.
The debut of Rappa Fire’s Mascot, The Blunt Dude, who gave the event a whimsical and lighthearted touch, was another enjoyable highlight of the festival. The Blunt Dude quickly became a favorite of the masses, whether posing for photos or engaging in humorous antics with the crowd.
Interactive Experiences: A Feast for the Senses
Hall of Flowers was n’t just about cannabis consumption, it was also a celebration of lifestyle and art. Exploding Kittens and Joking Hazard collaborated to create interactive art installations that attracted attention from the audience. These installations were meant to captivate the senses, giving those in “elevated state of mind” a more immersive experience.
The festival also showcased live glassblowing demos, featuring some of the cannabis scene’s most talented glass artists, led by Jerome Baker. Attendees learned a deeper appreciation for the craftsmanship behind functional glass art as intricate bongs, pipes, and dab rigs were brought to life in real-time.
A Culinary Journey Through Cannabis
Cannabis and cuisine took center stage at Sonoma Hills Farm’s” A Taste of Sonoma Culinary Experience “.This immersive food experience featured chef-driven demos and education from multiple James Beard Award nominees, Top Chef contestants, and Michelin Star winners. Chefs like Chris Cosentino, Preeti Mistry, and Solomon Johnson showcased the possibilities of cannabis-infused cuisine, making it a must-see ( and taste ) event for foodies and cannabis connoisseurs alike.
For those looking to enjoy a more intimate dining experience, attendees had the chance to pre-book a farm-to-table dinner from Chef Telmo Faria of Uma Casa, served right in the heart of the expo. This culinary experience was the epitome of how cannabis and high-end cuisine can work together to create something truly special.
ICONOCLASTS Speaker Series: Thought Leadership in Cannabis
The ICONOCLASTS Speaker Series was one of the most intellectually stimulating aspects of Hall of Flowers. This year’s lineup included industry leaders like Adam Ill, Anna Willey from CAM, Ted Lidie from Alien Labs, Neema Samari from CBX, and Nina Parks from the Equity Trade Network. These thought leaders gave valuable insights into the cannabis industry’s future, covering topics ranging from cannabis cultivation to social equity in the industry.
The Transbay Challenge: A Cannabis Competition
The Transbay Challenge gave attendees a chance to compete against the best marijuana products in the Bay Area. The daylong contest was judged by top cannabis journalists and experts in the field, and it ended with an awards ceremony on the main stage. The challenge highlighted California’s cannabis market’s diversity and innovation, with winners receiving more visibility and bragging rights.
A Hallmark Event for Cannabis Culture
Hall of Flowers 2024 was a resounding success, blending business, culture and community in a way that few events can. From breaking records to celebrating cannabis-infused cuisine, this year’s event set a high bar for future festivals. We had a blast celebrating the culture that makes this industry so special, according to Max Benitah of Papa’s Herb. We’re already looking forward to next year”! And if this year’s event was any indication, 2025 promises to be even bigger and better.
