Users can secretly record safety and wellbeing concerns to neighborhood organizations trained in helping without soon involving law enforcement, thanks to a new application created by Denver youngsters and University of Colorado Boulder scholars.
The 20-year-old Safe2Tell software, which allows Colorado individuals and group members to report concerns to local law enforcement in an anonymous manner, served as inspiration for the game Power of One. Young people who are afraid to talk to the police can use the new game as an alternative.
