
When Towani Clarke met 12-year-old Antoniece, she had been struggling to balance her daily obligations at work at Nordstrom with the yoga lessons she teaches at apartment. She described her way of life as “blinked.”
Clarke came to Colorado four years ago from Zambia, where she founded an Afro-chic women’s clothing business. She omitted the generational email practiced in Zambia. Her personal kids had grown.
