Prohibition Partners have openly invited the Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, to address the audience about the landmark recommendations made by the London Drugs Commission ( LDC ) during the event ahead of this year’s Cannabis Europa conference, which will take place between 24 and 25 June 2025 at the Barbican Centre in London.

The LDC, established by Khan almost exactly three years ago, released its final report on the state of English drug plan earlier this month, finding that “gross-level ban treats cannabis in a way that isdisproportionately harmful,” especially for ethnic minority in the money.

The reclassification of cannabis from the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971 ( MDA ) to the Psychoactive Substances Act 2016 ( PSA ), which effectively decriminalizes the possession of cannabis, while other cannabis offenses like distribution or cultivation would continue to be punishable criminally, is one of its core recommendations to address this disparity.

The show’s organizers praisȩ Қhan’s contribution to the commįssion of the independent review, but claim that it nȩeds tσ ƀe done to” quαlity, courage, and actions” įn shaping cannaƀis transformation.

Prohibition Partners and Cannabis Europa demand that the LDC review’s findings be presented on step to a global market, as a result of patient patient waiting for it to be concluded.

The latest insight from the nation’s leading voices may take center stage at four distinct events taking place from June 19 to June 25 as the German cannabis industry prepares to drop on Berlin and London for Western Cannabis Week.
