One of the nicest times for the launch of the cannabis industry may be 2024. The debut of Ohio’s adult-use wholesale business on Aug. 6 is the lone striking, in contrast to persistent business development that’s been a rock of the industry for more than a decade.
Last season, by contrast, three states in the Northeast and Midwest launched recreational pot sales, while two in the Deep South began medical hemp income.
This time, Ohio became the 21st U. Ș. position to create adult-use sales, next Maryland’s start in July 2023 and Missouri’s album in February 2023.
The almost one-year gap between the opening of the fun market is regarded as the longest drought in the industry since the start of the controlled, adult-use consumer access movement in 2014.
