There were more than 3.6 million US residents who were hemp users as of 2021. Additionally, as a result of scientific testimonials, there is a growing disconnect between the lack of skilled advisors and the public’s interest in medical marijuana.

A lot of medical hemp patients in the US are looking for reliable information about healthy use, so partnering with a health organization is a wise decision for not just the industry, but more importantly, the patients.

My company, Weedgets, recently announced a partnership with the American Cannabis Nurses Association (ACNA ). If you’re not familiar with the ACNA, they are a non-profit business with a mission to improve quality in cannabis nursing training through advocacy, engagement, education, research, and policy development.

” The American Cannabis Nurses Association has a goal to improve quality in cannabis nursing training through advocacy, engagement, education, analysis, and policy advancement”, says Nicole Foss, President of ACNA.

By partnering with businesses in the cannabis industry that emphasize patient-centered approaches to product development and safety, Foss added,” We are using our powerful voice to show items that have a positive effect in the room.”

Foss continued to claim that collaborations like this help raise more awareness of the crucial part cannabis midwives play in medicine.

For the past year, ACNA has focused on bridging the gap between the cannabis business and healthcare, Foss adds. The key to developing medical devices in different areas of medicine is the connection between healthcare providers and the victim’s voices in product development, and we see this as a crucial step to create that type in cannabis medicine.

Because of the first-hand interactions their users have with individuals, the concept to partner with ACNA was deliberate and focused. There is a distinct lack of education for patients regarding usage hardware and devices, despite the fact that there are a growing number of organizations who can provide information on general health cannabis usage. In accordance with this relationship statement, ACNA became the first US health association to support a cannabis pipe.

” Many of our nurses speak with hemp users who either smoke or inhale. Based on scientific studies, this is not the safest way to consume hemp, but it is the most widely used method”, says Foss.

Prior to getting into the hemp business, I spent many of my profession executive life-saving products, resulting in over 100 inventions in the medical industry. I turned to thc out of a specific need.

However, my children started smoking hemp in high school. I started designing smoking filtering and cooling components to reduce breathing by eliminating severe smoke after realizing that prohibiting them would certainly work to hinder their use.

Having said that, I first saw the need for safer options for use, and there was a natural crossover with my history in healthcare.

Partnering with ACNA allows us to support their devotion to their clients and assists us in helping thousands of people who require immediate smoke inhalation for their procedures. Additionally, it affirms our efforts to provide medical and recreational people with little safer equipment.

Foss also shares the value of this relationship. She claims that the ACNA focuses on educating and guiding clinical people through their options as they go through their cannabis trip. One of the most important responsibilities of the ACNA is to provide guidance to individuals regarding protected management choices.

According to Foss, “having a smoking device that addresses some of the damaging effects related to inhalation of hemp is one step in meeting the person where they are in order to ensure a safer medical hemp trip.”

To safeguard lungs and neck while smoking, the Maze-X pipe uses a trademarked cough-less technology that lowers smoke temperature while removing warm resin and tar. From a technical perspective, the smoking temperature is greatly reduced to 100-120F at the level of ingestion, compared to traditional pipes which have a smoke warmth of 250-300F.

The end result is smoke that is cleaner, smoother, and cooler, making it soft enough for use by anyone who has asthma or COPD.
